College Preparation Workshops

Every fall, NUEYS-DC holds its annual college-preparatory workshop to help Eritrean high school students navigate their way through the college application process.

All workshops are paneled by current college students to offer workshop participants personal perspectives on the admissions process and college life. Workshops advise participants how to choose a college, how to develop a competitive application, how to obtain financial aid, and how to succeed upon matriculation. High school seniors preparing their application materials are encouraged to share their applications with NUEYS-DC members for review. NUEYS-DC also provides counseling to individual students or parents with particular questions.
